The Nature of Real Stones

Stones are the most important product of nature. It is also called rocks and is the most essential thing on earth. Some stones are natural but some were synthetic. Natural stones are those that have coarse texture while synthetic stones are flawless and smooth. Stones were classified according to its kind and composition as well as its etiology and history.

Natural limestone, granite, and sandstones are some of the many natural stones used for architectural building, paving and masonry. They are common stones used by industrial companies in building homes and infrastructures. They are also used in landscaping homes which adds beauty and style in every furnish homes and garden.

Natural limestones are highly durable stones usually came from quarrying. It is a sedimentary rock which is highly composed of calcium carbonate. It is the most important stone for masonry and architecture. It’s harmonious seamless appearance makes it ideal for paving dining areas. But being a heavy material, natural limestone are impractical in tall buildings and is highly expensive as a building material.

Granite is an igneous rock, have coarse texture, hard and tough, and has been widely used as construction stones. It is formed from magma and is being extracted through mining and quarries. It is useful as floor tiles at home and office.

Sandstones are sedimentary rocks relatively composed of feldspar and quartz. It maybe in any colors but commonly it ranges from tan, red, and brown. Because of the hardness of every grains and its durability, sandstones serves as a common materials for building and paving.

Natural stones are very important in human, as well as in plants and animals.. In general it is essential in nature. It serves as a natural habitat as well as a source of livelihood.
